This project funds equipment for organisations and units supporting children living with disability or illness including hospitals, schools, nurseries and hospices, Under this funding stream we have previously purchased a specialist pain mattress for a children’s hospice and commissioned a tactile panel for a special needs nursery.

This project funds activities and therapies through specialist organisations such as horse riding lessons through the RDA and music therapy at Acorns Children’s Hospice.  These therapies play a crucial role in enabling children living with disability, illness and lack of opportunity to develop, grow in confidence and just have fun doing something that they wouldn’t

Any money received in this income stream funds essential equipment, materials other resources required to deliver our own projects such as our Animal Assisted Activities with our ponies, donkeys and reindeer, as well as smaller projects such as our market garden.  Many of these projects are medium term, enabling us to have extensive, ongoing engagement
